Tesla voice commands we love

Top Tesla Voice Commands

Tesla owners have a lot of options when it comes to controlling their car. They can use voice commands, or they can use touch commands. The great thing about voice commands is, even though they require a press of a button on the steering wheel, it allows you to trigger more advanced commands without taking your hands off the wheel. This makes driving your Tesla even safer and that’s the main reason to learn to use voice more. However, there are some things that only the best voice and touch controls can do:

Open glove box

Open glove box: The most popular voice command. This can be done by saying “Open glove box”.

Open frunk

The frunk is the front trunk of your vehicle, and it’s a great place to store luggage or other items you don’t want to carry around in your hands.

If you’re using Tesla’s voice commands, then opening the frunk can be done with just one command: “Open Frunk.”

Open trunk

Open trunk

  • “Tesla, open the trunk.”
  • “Tesla, close the trunk.”
  • “Open or close my Tesla’s trunk?”

Open charge port

You can open the charge port with Telsa app, the touch screen or with voice. Say “Open Charge Port.” or “Open Butt Hole” (yes that’s right it actually works). Your vehicle may then ask for confirmation before opening up for business.

You can also use voice commands to open your vehicle’s charge port: say “Open Charge Port” or simply give it a command like “Open” or “Unlock.”

Humor me

Humor me is a fun command that will make your car say funny things. It can be used in any situation, from when you’re driving around town to when you’re stuck in traffic on the freeway. You can even use it to entertain your passengers! This one of Tesla’s easter eggs – if you have Humor Me enabled and are about to exit the vehicle, it’ll say something like “I’m going out for lunch,” or maybe something more funny like “I’m going to buy some milk.”

Lock car

  • Lock car. The lock command is used to lock the doors, as well as prevent anyone else from opening them without your permission.
  • Unlock car. If you’re sitting in the car and its lock you can use this to unlock the car.

Play the news

The news is a good place to start.

  • To play the news, say “play news.”
  • You can also say: “Alexa, play NPR News.”
  • You can also say: “Alexa, ask Tesla what’s playing on my music.”

these are the top commands for your Tesla
